CONSULTANT/SENIOR CONSULTANT

Executive Counsel Limited is a highly respected public relations / brand building and government affairs / public affairs consultancy. We are now inviting suitable candidates for the following immediate vacancy:

CONSULTANT/SENIOR CONSULTANT

The Senior Consultant will satisfy the following requirements to perform their duties:

• 5+ years relevant post graduation agency working experience is required;
• Experienced, methodical and systematic account manager;
• Proven team leader;
• Proven rainmaker, able to win public relations work;
• Excellent client management;
• Strong English and Chinese language writing capability;
• Organised, with strong time management skills and ability to multi-task effectively;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Proven networking and business development capabilities;
• Second class and above university degree in a relevant discipline;
• Meticulous and able to work independently; and
• Well-versed in various computer software applications.

Candidate with less experience will be considered as PR Consultant.

PUBLIC AFFAIRS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS CONSULTANT

 

The Consultant will meet the following requirements to perform their public affairs and public relations duties:

 

• At least three years relevant post-graduation experience in public relations and public affairs in an agency environment; 

• A minimum of three years experience in the technology, media and telecoms markets. Additional experience working with tech-startups highly preferred;

• Experience working within an international Chamber of Commerce with a strong existing network of international contacts based in Hong Kong;

• A strong knowledge of Hong Kong political landscape as well as experience working with government departments (in Hong Kong and the UK) essential; 

• Experience and effective communicator with senior management professionals; 

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in both HK markets and markets outside of Hong Kong, including the ability to bring in new business from overseas to Hong Kong;  

• Advanced writing skills - the successful candidate will be ghost-writing speeches and articles for senior members of the Hong Kong business community. High levels of spoken and written English essential; 

• Proven new business pitching and prospecting experience; 

• Proven networking and business development capabilities;  

• Strong team work experience and work ethic;  

• Organised with demonstrable strong time management skills and ability to multi-task effectively; and

• Exceptional English fluency of both written and spoken essential.
